Description

  • Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Kotlin and Java.
  • Apply software engineering best practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Work closely with the team and client to communicate clearly and propose effective solutions.
  • Develop unit, functional, and performance tests to support product quality.
  • Instrument applications for monitoring and troubleshooting using Grafana and Splunk.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including bugs and incidents.
  • Work across the full product lifecycle from feature conception through deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain code organization and clarity using GIT/Git Flow and document APIs with Swagger.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, and HTTP/HTTPS-based integrations.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with object-oriented languages, especially Java and Kotlin.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including TDD, DDD, and Clean Code.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocols and tools such as GIT and Swagger.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and/or Javalin is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with streaming/data event-driven solutions such as Kafka is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud and AWS, is a plus.
  • Experience with API management tools such as Apigee Hybrid is a plus.
  • Experience with Node.js for API management and server-side development is a plus.
