Description

  • Perform troubleshooting and deep investigation of failures and issues such as slowness or inconsistencies in payment flows, including Pix and card transactions.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, and system data to identify the root cause of incidents quickly and accurately.
  • Develop and implement bug fixes in Java code and optimize performance and MongoDB queries.
  • Monitor the production environment using observability tools such as Dynatrace and create monitoring tags and dashboards as needed.
  • Participate actively in problem and incident management, collaborating with partner teams to meet SLAs and maintain application health.
  • Investigate unexpected system behavior through reverse engineering and propose architectural improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Work with backend systems that support critical payment operations in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in backend development with Java.
  • Practical experience troubleshooting systems in production.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Basic experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
  • Strong analytical ability for diagnosing complex problems in a support/maintenance context.
  • Practical experience with event-driven architecture and messaging (publisher/subscriber), including asynchronous flows, queues, topics, retry, and dead-letter queue concepts.
  • Self-directed, exploratory profile with the ability to navigate legacy code, read dense documentation, investigate logs deeply, and learn complex tools or business rules independently.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes and workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with payment systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian environment, especially Jira, for managing tasks, incidents, and changes (RDM), is a plus.
