Description

  • Build and maintain high-quality automation to support Starlink customer growth, new market launches, and customer experience improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve business-critical and experimental automation.
  • Create alerts, monitoring systems, and reports to verify automation health and performance.
  • Manage requests and stakeholders in a scalable way.
  • Own automation status reporting, including health metrics and credit issuance tracking.
  • Work with engineering and business teams to migrate suitable automation to website-integrated solutions.
  • Design measurable and well-scoped experiments.
  • Write and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative automation updates, performance, and opportunities to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, or STEM discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in engineering, software, data analytics, venture capital, management consulting, or operations/product management at a technology company.
  • 1+ years of experience with Python.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python preferred.
  • Understanding of database structures, query optimization, and ETL development preferred.
  • Experience with automation using VBA, Python, C#, or similar tools preferred.
  • Experience in a startup, consulting, tech, or other high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Strong project management and self-directed prioritization skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences at all organizational levels preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and work effectively with multiple levels of management preferred.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel to corporate customer sites, other SpaceX locations, and industry events as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
