Description

  • Define and evolve software architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy systems such as EJB, JSP, Oracle PL/SQL, and WebSphere into microservices-based architectures.
  • Participate hands-on in development and code review, supporting critical technical decisions.
  • Establish technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the team.
  • Use AI tools in development to speed up system analysis and evolution.
  • Mentor and upskill the engineering team through continuous technical development.
  • Promote adoption of DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, SOLID, and TDD practices.
  • Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and code governance.
  • Ensure application observability, reliability, and performance through APM, logs, metrics, and tracing.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define solutions and prioritize work.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in software architecture and technical leadership.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including microservices, REST APIs, and security.
  • Experience with Node.js and Python for building services and automations.
  • Experience with Angular in enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy systems.
  • Practical use of AI tools for development, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Gitflow.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, DDD, and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana.
  • Preferred: experience creating AI-based accelerators and agents.
  • Preferred: knowledge of OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
  • Preferred: experience using the C4 model for architecture documentation.
  • Preferred: experience in high-complexity, mission-critical environments.
