Description

  • Review and interpret OEM equipment documentation, including sensor specifications, events, and thresholds.
  • Extract, structure, and normalize data to support automated protocol configuration pipelines.
  • Support automation of test scenarios based on structured inputs.
  • Collaborate with developers and protocol owners to ensure parsed specifications are accurate and complete.
  • Track inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in documentation and flag them for follow-up.
  • Participate in developing internal tooling or scripts, such as Python utilities, to streamline data parsing and ingestion.
  • Maintain configuration records and associated change documentation.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a QA, data analyst, or technical documentation role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Familiarity with structured data formats such as Excel, CSV, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience working with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Basic understanding of software configuration workflows.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with equipment protocols or industrial telemetry, such as CAN or J1939, is preferred.
  • Exposure to QA automation or continuous integration environments is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical hardware specifications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with configuration management or DevOps pipelines is preferred.
  • ISTQB or a similar QA-related certification is preferred.
