Description

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python/PySpark.
  • Build and maintain analytics-oriented data models such as Star Schema and OBTs.
  • Organize data into Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers within a modern data architecture.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the full data pipeline.
  • Serve as a technical reference for solving problems and removing blockers.
  • Translate business needs into efficient data solutions.
  • Create, evolve, and manage the project technical roadmap.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Participate in technical discovery, current-state assessment, and migration planning for the cloud transition.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data engineering and building data pipelines.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with Python and/or PySpark.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and the Spark ecosystem.
  • Experience orchestrating pipelines, such as with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Knowledge of analytics data modeling, including Star Schema and OBT.
  • Experience with layered architectures using Bronze, Silver, and Gold zones.
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance practices.
  • Experience operating in Data Lakehouse environments, including MERGE operations.
  • Ability to work autonomously in less structured scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and business areas.
  • Analytical profile with problem-solving orientation.
  • Experience creating and managing technical roadmaps.
  • Databricks or Azure certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer, are a plus.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Experience working in agile methodologies is a plus.
