Description

  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Build, document, and maintain robust data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Dagster, Snowflake, Estuary, and Airbyte.
  • Develop deployment and release processes through software integration to support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design, build, and operate AWS-based data infrastructure with an emphasis on scale, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Build frameworks and internal self-service tools that help the data team deliver value faster.
  • Support data modeling across global entities as the business and data footprint grows.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data models and pipelines support key business performance understanding and reliable internal and external data consumption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or data engineer in a fast-paced, technical, problem-solving environment.
  • Proficiency in cloud data warehouse best practices, optimization, and usage, especially Snowflake.
  • Expertise in ETL, data modeling, and version control; dbt and GitHub preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the AWS data ecosystem.
  • Experience with data extraction tools such as Estuary and Airbyte.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools; Looker preferred.
  • Familiarity with data streaming technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
  • Ability to work core aligned hours to US Eastern Time / GMT-5.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift gears quickly.
