Description

  • Maintain a strong relationship with the client and the internal team.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and client about day-to-day work.
  • Perform technical refinement activities.
  • Maintain and develop COBOL applications integrated with databases.
  • Anticipate opportunities and issues, responding quickly and proactively with preventive solutions.
  • Work within mainframe development environments.
  • Collaborate independently and as part of a team on assigned deliverables.

Requirements

  • Experience in COBOL programming.
  • Solid knowledge of CICS, DB2, JCL, CHANGEMAN, TSO, VSAM, and DEBUG Tools.
  • Experience with DB2 and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with mainframe development environments.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Hexavision.
  • Knowledge of Java is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Jira is a plus.
