Description

  • Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and integrations.
  • Develop and optimize event-driven pipelines and workflows that process billions of signals.
  • Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm for repeatable deployments.
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver end-to-end identity solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and influence architecture and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at scale.
  • Strong skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar tools.
  • Experience with Spark, Hive, or Flink, plus workflow schedulers such as Airflow or Luigi.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, with EKS preferred.
  • Experience with deployment practices including Helm and service meshes.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with columnar or NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Snowflake, HBase, Scylla, or Couchbase.
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of driving technical direction and mentoring teams.
  • Experience with large-scale or multi-tenant distributed systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to real-time streaming frameworks such as Flink or Storm is a plus.
  • Knowledge of open table formats such as Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta Lake is a plus.
  • Background in security, compliance, or privacy related to identity systems is a plus.
