Description

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and microservices aligned with architecture standards.
  • Implement and evolve REST and gRPC APIs with proper versioning and best practices.
  • Ensure service reliability through unit and integration tests, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Design and tune PostgreSQL schemas and optimize database performance.
  • Integrate and manage caching layers such as Redis for performance and ephemeral data.
  • Build, containerize, debug, and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Apply backend security fundamentals including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT validation, RBAC, and secure coding practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD workflows (Tekton/Jenkins) and GitOps deployments (ArgoCD); participate in pipeline/configuration work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in technical discussions and design reviews, and mentor team members when needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Strong production experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and familiarity with gRPC concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and backend security fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and JPA/Hibernate, including schema design and performance tuning.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployments, debugging, ConfigMaps/Secrets).
  • Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, analyze logs, and diagnose performance issues.
  • Effective communication, transparency, and resilience in fast-paced, multicultural teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies.
  • Nice-to-have: proficiency with Redis/NoSQL, GitOps (ArgoCD), Tekton pipelines, Helm/Kustomize, GCP (GKE, IAM, Cloud Logging/Monitoring), OPA/policy-based access control, WebSockets/streaming APIs, or AI-driven prototyping/integration.
