Description

  • Maintain and optimize AWS EC2 and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Lead incident response for production outages, deliver timely resolutions, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support and collaborate with development teams on deployment questions, operational support, and best practices.
  • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to streamline deployments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Communicate cluster status, incidents, and improvement plans to Directors and other stakeholders.
  • Manage automation and operational tasks via scripting and infrastructure-as-code workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in DevOps/SRE roles with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, and Load Balancers.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions (or similar).
  • Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, NewRelic).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Helm charts (public and customized) for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD), AWS CDK for IaC, and experience with Java applications.
