Description

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organization.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting critical services and platform availability.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and documentation to reduce operational overhead and improve knowledge sharing.
  • Own the platform and service delivery lifecycle from design and build through operation and optimization.
  • Promote engineering standards and operational best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and SRE.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or software engineering.
  • Strong Kubernetes experience at scale and deep knowledge of containers and orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, plus scripting and automation expertise.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, platform, and service security principles.
  • Significant experience with at least one major cloud platform, with broad exposure to AWS, GCP, or OCI.
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, distributed systems, Linux and/or Windows administration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, software delivery automation, and secure SDLC practices, including static and dynamic security testing.
  • Knowledge of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, toil reduction, availability, and observability; production Elasticsearch experience is strongly preferred. Kafka, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and networking experience are preferred.

  • Bulgaria salary: €55,000–€61,000 annual gross.
  • Hungary salary: HUF 17,000,000–22,000,000 annual gross.
