Description

  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate security controls, testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability detection into development and deployment workflows.
  • Develop automation scripts, deployment workflows, configuration-management solutions, and infrastructure-as-code processes.
  • Support secure cloud-native and containerized application deployment and operations.
  • Manage Git repositories, branching, version control, releases, and traceability of software artifacts.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation activities.
  • Implement secure configuration baselines and automated controls across applications, operating systems, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise technologies.
  • Support software supply-chain security, including dependency evaluation, SBOM activities, malware screening, code signing, and integrity validation.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, cloud engineers, security teams, administrators, and government stakeholders.
  • Document architectures, pipelines, workflows, controls, configurations, procedures, and audit evidence.
  • Support requirements traceability from cybersecurity controls through Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Participate in design reviews, modernization initiatives, testing, pilots, and technical working groups; travel onsite up to twice annually as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of DevSecOps experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity and cloud security at a large government agency comparable to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
  • Expertise with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native environments.
  • Expertise in software development, Git-based repositories, and version-control practices.
  • Experience performing security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience integrating security tools into DevOps pipelines and automating security testing and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information assurance, information security, information resource management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications preferred, including CASP+/SecurityX, CCISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCED, GCIH, GSLC, or CCNP Security.
  • Eligibility to undergo a security investigation and potentially qualify for access to classified information.
