Description

  • Architect, build, and own full-stack platforms for infrastructure and operations teams.
  • Design systems that ingest, process, analyze, and expose infrastructure data at scale.
  • Develop backend services and APIs for data collection, enrichment, and querying.
  • Build web interfaces with advanced search, filtering, and usability for technical users.
  • Design and implement ETL and data-processing pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
  • Deliver containerized, production-ready applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Provide technical leadership on system design, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, security, and product stakeholders.
  • Establish engineering standards for testing, code quality, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Review designs and code, reduce technical debt, and improve scalability and developer experience.

Requirements

  • Staff or Senior-level experience building complex production systems.
  • Typically 10+ years of professional software engineering experience and ownership of large or critical systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong backend engineering experience, including API design and data-intensive services.
  • Experience building applications involving data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, Go, Java, or a similar backend language.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud-native design.
  • Excellent technical judgment, communication, and ability to influence without authority.
  • Preferred: Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or MySQL, ETL or analytics platforms, GCP or AWS, infrastructure tooling, observability, cost optimization, reliability engineering, or infrastructure automation experience.

Benefits

  • Annual gross salary of €65,000–€75,000 for candidates based in Bulgaria.
  • Annual gross salary of HUF 24,000,000–26,000,000 for candidates based in Hungary.
