Description

  • Build and maintain end-to-end features across the frontend and backend of the product.
  • Contribute to backend services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with senior developers, submitting and reviewing pull requests regularly.
  • Write clean, well-tested code following established engineering patterns and practices.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs across the full stack.
  • Participate in learning and improving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and deployment processes.
  • Deliver features used by large accountancy firms and financial institutions, taking ownership from development through deployment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional software development experience or equivalent via internships/strong personal projects.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt quickly.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or Angular).
  • Some experience with C# or another strongly-typed backend language.
  • Good understanding of APIs and HTTP/REST fundamentals.
  • Experience with git and version control workflows.
  • Exposure to relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn unit testing practices.
  • Nice to have: experience with Vue 3 (Composition API) and component libraries such as Vuetify.
  • Nice to have: exposure to .NET (Entity Framework Core), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Docker/containerisation, and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps).
  • Nice to have: Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification.
