Description

  • Own revenue generation by converting qualified leads into opportunities and closing new business.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from qualification through close, including lead nurturing and follow-up.
  • Build an outbound and referral strategy to develop a book of business from partner and inbound leads.
  • Conduct in-person sales activities with independent restaurants across the Detroit territory.
  • Run in-product web demos for a range of audiences.
  • Collaborate with peers and managers to apply and improve ChowNow’s value-selling methodology.
  • Use SFDC reports and dashboards to track pipeline health and KPIs.
  • Work with management to audit the pipeline and improve conversion rates through coaching and data-driven insights.
  • Shape and scale sales strategy by sharing best practices, tools, and content with the team.
  • Travel within the market as needed, up to 45%, using reliable transportation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a track record of consistent over-achievement.
  • Experience selling in a fast-paced, changing sales environment.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and develop a book of business through referrals.
  • Strong curiosity about people, local restaurants, and food trends.
  • Knowledge of competitors and current market trends.
  • Coachability and willingness to learn sales process, technology, and buyer decision-making.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay positive while implementing feedback.
  • Self-motivation, grit, and comfort working in a competitive environment.
  • Reliable means of transportation and ability to travel 45% within the market.
  • Experience with SFDC, sales dashboards, or similar CRM/reporting tools (preferred).
