Description

  • Own the monthly close, multi-entity consolidation, and leadership reporting, including financial statements and flux analysis.
  • Oversee equity administration, stock-based compensation accounting, spend management, AP, expense reimbursements, and bill pay.
  • Manage banking relationships, bank compliance reporting, corporate insurance, and vendor renewals for U.S. and Canadian entities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external audit, tax, banking, and other finance partners.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across accounting and close processes.
  • Own the end-to-end quote-to-cash process, including billing configuration, revenue recognition, and scalable billing procedures.
  • Manage recurring MRR reporting used for commissions and bank reporting.
  • Lead annual financial statement audits, controls testing, audit readiness, and PBC coordination.
  • Strengthen internal controls, governance policies, authorization procedures, and remediation processes.
  • Manage sales and use tax compliance, related audits, tax-law monitoring, and coordination with external tax advisors.
  • Lead and develop a distributed team of 10 across Accounting, Billing, Financial Operations, AP, and Payroll.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller experience.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Public accounting experience with a Big Four or national firm preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and business combinations.
  • Experience owning multi-entity monthly close and consolidation; international subsidiary experience preferred.
  • Track record leading external audits and strengthening internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Experience managing and developing an accounting team, ideally in a distributed environment.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a lean, fast-moving organization while building scalable processes.
  • Advanced NetSuite proficiency and experience with modern finance tools such as Ramp and Carta.

  • Estimated base salary of $220,000–$260,000, depending on experience and location.
