Description

  • Provide technical support for student information and attendance-related client needs.
  • Train client staff on using SIS tools to meet state reporting requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues with new and existing systems.
  • Codify procedures and system configuration settings.
  • Streamline processes and evaluate more efficient system solutions.
  • Expand automation to improve system stability and data linkages across systems.
  • Prepare, submit, and validate attendance and state reporting information.
  • Gather data and support the submission of attendance and state reporting records.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain accurate student data and reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of education-related data management experience.
  • Experience with data reconciliation, quality control, and field mapping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Student Information Systems such as PowerSchool or Aeries.
  • Experience with attendance administration and state reporting systems such as CALPADS, MARSS, or PEIMS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Strong oral and written English grammar and communication skills.
  • JavaScript, Java, and SQL programming experience is a plus.
  • Experience with system analysis and process improvement practices.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to constantly changing environments.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar nonprofit accounting systems, and third-party database experience is preferred.
