Description

  • Architect the end-to-end automation platform for package creation, test generation, and image building.
  • Own the technical vision for the fulfillment platform and make scalable technical decisions.
  • Build AI-powered tooling and LLM-integrated pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation.
  • Design prompt architectures, evaluation loops, and quality gates for agentic workflows.
  • Develop production Go code, including CLI tools, services, and integrations.
  • Build tooling and automation that improves customer reliability through testing and validation frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor engineers by setting technical direction, reviewing designs, and helping the team grow.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to identify high-impact problems and shape the long-term roadmap.
  • Drive outcomes that extend beyond the immediate team and raise the bar for engineering quality.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of designing and building complex systems.
  • Strong Go expertise.
  • Experience integrating AI/LLMs for code generation, automation, or developer tooling.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Systems architecture skills with the ability to design loosely coupled, scalable systems and make pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.
  • Deep Linux and build systems knowledge, including package managers such as apk, apt, and rpm.
  • Experience with build tools such as Make, Bazel, and language-specific toolchains, plus containerization.
  • Container ecosystem expertise with Docker, OCI, container registries, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing clear technical documents, working autonomously, and collaborating across teams.
  • Contributions to open-source projects are preferred.
  • Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts such as SBOM, provenance, and signing is preferred.
  • Experience with melange, apko, or Wolfi is preferred.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG is preferred.
