Description

  • Design and develop technical integrations between Chainguard products and partner platforms, including cloud marketplaces, vulnerability scanners, and observability providers.
  • Build and maintain the security advisory system, including schemas, APIs, and data feeds such as OSV and secdb.
  • Own integrations with GCP, AWS, and Azure, including areas like mirroring, IAM, and proxying.
  • Support compatibility across VMs, containers, and libraries with security and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Work directly with external partners to help them adopt, validate, and certify support for Chainguard’s products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope and support integration needs for product launches and new initiatives.
  • Mentor peers, improve team processes, and help guide architectural decisions.
  • Drive long-term projects independently or with small teams and deliver scalable, well-architected solutions.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that integrate Chainguard products into customers’ existing tools and environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Comfort working and thriving in a Linux ecosystem.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces and drive toward scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Experience building APIs and data pipelines, especially for security data or third-party integrations.
  • Strong system architecture and design skills with the ability to balance trade-offs and influence technical direction.
  • Golang development experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of security tooling and standards, especially vulnerability scanning and advisory formats like OSV.
  • Experience in partner-facing roles, ISV integrations, or marketplace certification processes is a plus.
