Description

  • Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard Images across customer organizations.
  • Partner with account teams, including AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support, to understand customer needs and drive account strategy, value realization, retention, and growth.
  • Act as “customer zero” by testing, documenting, and ensuring high-quality image builds and smooth onboarding experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and help prioritize image build work.
  • Maintain account-level architecture and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Collaborate with teammates, and help teach and learn from the broader Chainguard team.
  • Serve as the closest technical contact for customers during the implementation and onboarding lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers.
  • 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales customer-facing role.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engineers and executives.
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Strong working experience with software development processes, practices, and software engineering design concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
