Description

  • Define and drive the roadmap and product sequencing for the Unified Repository across an expanding set of artifact types.
  • Own the milestone framework from initial launch through enterprise general availability.
  • Build and optimize the developer experience and product-led growth motion to drive adoption and conversion.
  • Design free, pay-as-you-go, and enterprise tiers with clear upgrade paths.
  • Partner with Engineering, Experience, and GTM teams to deliver quickly while maintaining trust and alignment.
  • Ship features and capabilities needed for enterprise customers to adopt Chainguard confidently.
  • Work across stakeholders to resolve difficult product decisions and ensure the right people are involved at the right time.
  • Prioritize roadmap decisions against market urgency and customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or security.
  • Experience shipping product-led growth or developer-facing products with both free and enterprise tiers.
  • Working knowledge of the software supply chain, including package managers, registries, artifact management, and open source distribution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and make defensible sequencing decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to align engineering, design, sales, and legal around one roadmap.
  • Zero-to-one product experience with customer discovery and iterative validation.
  • Technical credibility to discuss infrastructure, security, and developer tooling with engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with a major package ecosystem such as npm, PyPI, Maven, or Go, preferred.
  • Background in security, compliance, or enterprise platform products, preferred.
  • Experience with registries, artifact stores, or developer onboarding flows, preferred.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption pricing models, preferred.
