Description

  • Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch, translating market trends and user insights into a multi-year roadmap.
  • Define success metrics and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform prioritization and leadership decisions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Content, Assessment, Operations, and partner-facing teams to execute cross-functional initiatives.
  • Lead product rollouts and launches, including change management and assessment of implementation risks.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy to technical and non-technical audiences to align senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, or sunset lower-value workflows and investments.
  • Establish and scale systems for product discovery, roadmap management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Resolve process gaps and operational friction points while managing dependencies with transparency and structure.
  • Build product management norms and a learning culture centered on user-centered problem solving and evidence-based decisions.
  • Coach colleagues across functions on product development best practices and foster inclusive collaboration.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex initiatives and significant organizational decisions.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous goals and user needs into actionable roadmaps and technical execution plans in an agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of software development and the impact of product decisions on interconnected workflows and organizational priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to distill complex qualitative and quantitative data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience using user insights, market context, and operational realities to influence prioritization and direction.
  • Ability to evaluate decisions through the lenses of equity, sustainability, technical feasibility, and user impact.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives with diverse stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving constraints.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance short-term execution needs and long-term strategy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate difficult conversations and build consensus.
  • Experience in K–12 education, educational technology, nonprofit organizations, or mission-driven organizations (preferred).
  • Experience building products or systems that support educators, school systems, or instructional improvement (preferred).
  • Familiarity with assessment, curriculum, reporting, analytics, or instructional technology products (preferred).
  • Experience operating in highly collaborative and matrixed organizational environments (preferred).
