Description

  • Define the vision, strategy, and execution for Elastic Agent Builder.
  • Work with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to gather requirements and prioritize product needs.
  • Build and align a roadmap for core context engineering capabilities on Elastic's retrieval and relevance platform.
  • Develop the strategy for benchmarking and evaluating AI agent capabilities with data science and engineering teams.
  • Partner with design to improve user experiences for showing and refining context in agent workflows.
  • Serve as the product expert and evangelize Agent Builder through blogs, open source projects, and other content.
  • Collaborate with AI partners, including cloud service providers and community developers.
  • Monitor the AI Agent market, key players, and emerging trends to inform product strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
  • Proven record of leading complex, data-intensive products from inception through launch and iterative growth.
  • Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and context engineering.
  • Comfort working closely with engineers and data scientists to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to move quickly, learn from experiments and tests, and use AI tools to accelerate decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization, align stakeholders, and drive execution in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for industry trends and solving real-world customer problems.
  • Advocacy for the developer persona and a commitment to building products that help users innovate.
