Description

  • Build and scale the Developer Relations function from an existing foundation into a strategic growth engine.
  • Partner with Growth to create tools, sample apps, sign-up flows, get-started guides, and technical content that drive developer acquisition and activation.
  • Work with field teams to run technical workshops for high-value prospects and support customer calls on specialized topics.
  • Develop technical assets that help Sales advance enterprise opportunities and integrate DevRel into account plans each quarter.
  • Serve as the technical voice of the developer by testing new features, identifying friction, and providing structured feedback to Product.
  • Provide credible technical responses during security incidents to earn trust in the developer community.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a team of DevRel engineers with clear ownership and impact expectations.
  • Set quarterly priorities with GTM and Product stakeholders and reprioritize quickly as business needs change.
  • Create scalable programs and content that can be repurposed into talks, blogs, videos, guides, and courses to expand reach.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Marketing, or a closely related technical go-to-market role.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • A track record of connecting DevRel activities to measurable business outcomes such as pipeline influence, developer adoption, activation rates, or enterprise deal progression.
  • Deep cross-functional experience working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Technical credibility in software development, infrastructure, or security.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including customer calls, prospect workshops, and collaboration with field teams.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to focus on the highest-impact work.
  • A leadership style centered on ownership, clarity, and coaching.
  • High bias toward action in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience in open source or developer security environments is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $221,000 to $260,000 USD.
