Description

  • Own the Northeast field marketing plan and align regional strategy to sales priorities and pipeline goals.
  • Develop and execute demand generation programs, including events, campaigns, roadshows, direct mail, and virtual or in-person experiences.
  • Act as the regional marketing quarterback by analyzing funnel health, monitoring pipeline coverage, and adjusting plans during the quarter.
  • Partner with BDR teams to ensure timely, high-quality follow-up on leads from events and programs.
  • Localize campaigns, messaging, content, and experiences for Canadian buyers, especially in Toronto, Ontario, and Eastern Canada.
  • Forecast and measure the impact of field programs on the sales cycle and optimize future plans using performance data.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for regional sales leadership, reps, BDRs, and regional partners.
  • Build regional programs from the ground up, with particular focus on growing Chainguard’s presence in Canada.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in field marketing and demand generation.
  • Proven track record of building and executing regional marketing plans that generate pipeline in prospect accounts.
  • Experience marketing enterprise software security products to security and engineering leadership personas.
  • Experience with international or multi-country regional marketing, including adapting global campaigns for local markets.
  • Strong understanding of the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canadian markets, especially Toronto and greater Ontario.
  • Ability to partner with sales leaders, craft strategy and execution plans, and independently own program-level execution.
  • Experience planning and executing a high volume and variety of field events for priority accounts and regional audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using funnel metrics to assess effectiveness and pivot strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across sales, BDR, and marketing teams.
  • Must be based in Canada, ideally Ontario, with prior experience covering the Canadian market.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% for events in the Northeastern U.S. and Canada.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or developer tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with French-Canadian markets, including Quebec, and comfort engaging French-speaking buyers and partners is preferred.
  • Team-first mentality with a broader contribution mindset is preferred.
