Description

  • Support study scoping and develop bioanalytical budgets and fee estimates.
  • Prepare pricing materials for proposals, RFQs, bid grids, cost assumptions, and timelines.
  • Assist with quotation and contract preparation, project number creation, and document tracking.
  • Support change orders by evaluating scope changes and their financial impacts.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across pricing models, templates, and assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and other stakeholders on pricing strategies.
  • Provide financial support for awarded projects, ensuring alignment between scope, budget, and actuals.
  • Maintain project data in local and global systems with timely updates.
  • Assist with weekly forecasting, variance tracking, and WIP monitoring.
  • Support invoice preparation, pass-through cost allocation, financial adjustments, and project close-out activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in proposal support, pricing, financial operations, or project coordination.
  • Experience supporting client-facing, project-based budgets and financial tracking.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, analysis, and templates.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in bioanalytical services, clinical research, or life sciences is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar workflow/project management tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to RFQs, change orders, contracts, and quotations is preferred.
