Description

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Amazon Connect implementations, including discovery, planning, delivery, testing, and client handoff.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, deliverables, resource allocations, budgets, and schedules.
  • Serve as the primary technical client contact and facilitate communication among clients, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Oversee Amazon Connect configuration, contact flows, queues, routing strategies, integrations, and AI-powered features.
  • Coordinate integrations with CRM systems, knowledge bases, telephony platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with solutions architects to design scalable, secure, resilient AWS-based customer experience solutions.
  • Oversee analytics, reporting, CI/CD, testing, knowledge transfer, and managed-services transition.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, scope, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Develop reusable implementation assets, document lessons learned, and improve delivery methodologies.
  • Stay current with Amazon Connect and AWS developments, contribute to thought leadership, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience and 3+ years of AWS cloud experience.
  • Experience managing complex technical implementations and contact center or customer experience solutions.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing, IVR, agent workspaces, reporting, Contact Lens, tasks, and outbound campaigns (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, QuickSight, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Experience with IVR, CTI, telephony, CRM platforms, AI/ML, scripting languages such as Python or Node.js, and infrastructure as code tools (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification and contact center operations experience are preferred; the role may require up to 50% travel and does not offer visa sponsorship.
