Description

  • Architect and develop a browser-accessible lab front end for remote access to training environments.
  • Build backend orchestration systems to spin up and tear down virtual machines, networking components, and modular scenarios on demand.
  • Create a scalable, multi-tenant lab environment that supports parallel user access.
  • Design and automate lab provisioning across AWS and/or Azure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Build reusable infrastructure modules and templates for lab deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Configure VPN connectivity and secure integrations between SaaS accounts and lab infrastructure.
  • Deploy and configure virtual networking components, firewalls, routing policies, and Windows VMs as needed.
  • Integrate lab orchestration with SaaS APIs to provision tenant accounts, configure policies, enable features, and bind accounts to infrastructure.
  • Develop validation scripts, health checks, logging, and error handling to verify lab health and reliability.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and remediate failed lab deployments while improving performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the networking or security industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud, networking, or automation engineering.
  • Experience building demo, training, or enablement lab environments.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (required).
  • Experience with backend development in Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages.
  • Expert-level experience with Azure.
  • Deep experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux command-line environments, including tcpdump, curl, ip, netstat, package management, and system services.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience for Windows automation, VM provisioning, and SaaS/API interactions.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPN configuration, firewalls, routing, and SaaS architecture concepts.
  • Experience building automated provisioning pipelines and integrating REST APIs into automation workflows.
  • Preferred: Networking or security certifications such as CCNA.
  • Preferred: Experience with browser-based remote access platforms such as Apache Guacamole.
  • Preferred: Experience with GraphQL APIs.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and secure network architectures.
  • Preferred: Experience with containerization such as Docker.
  • Preferred: Experience building internal platforms or developer enablement tools.
