Description

  • Analyze customer technology environments and business goals through technical discovery and needs assessment.
  • Recommend solution designs and configurations that align with customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support by delivering product demonstrations, guidance, and proofs of concept.
  • Own the technical win by helping move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Answer complex technical questions about how the system works and how it would be implemented.
  • Serve as a bridge between customers, prospects, sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Relay customer feedback, feature requests, and pain points to inform future product development.
  • Support initial solution setup, configuration, and trial activities as needed.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and smooth handoffs between sales, implementation, and client services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales, consulting, or solutions engineering experience, or similar experience in other technical client-facing roles.
  • Expertise in analytics products and/or BI tools and platforms.
  • Experience with data analytics methodologies and data science.
  • Hands-on experience with web applications, APIs, data integrations, and software architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain language.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills for multiple buyer personas, including executives.
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers at all levels within client and prospect organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously reprioritize while staying focused on the sales process.
