Description

  • Provide high-quality phone support to end users of financial accounting, practice management, and template applications.
  • Own customer issues throughout their full lifecycle until a timely resolution is delivered.
  • Troubleshoot and explain accounting software applications and reported issues.
  • Work an inbound call queue and manage a high volume of calls and emails.
  • Guide customers on software installation, functionality, and feature usage.
  • Analyze client workflows and processes to apply Caseware products and resolve issues.
  • Track issues in the internal ticketing system and maintain accurate case records.
  • Perform minor software testing, provide feedback, and support related projects as needed.
  • Document procedures, process updates, and hardware/software changes.
  • Experiment with emerging AI tools to identify workflow and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar customer support role in the B2B accounting or financial industry.
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting and financial statements is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
  • Experience using ticketing systems.
  • Exposure to accounting, assurance, and tax principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a resolution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; French is an asset.
  • Accurate and efficient keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Ability to perform under time pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • AI-first mindset with curiosity for emerging tools and willingness to experiment with AI.
  • Eligible to work in Canada and able to work remotely from within Canada.
