Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub and oversee market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and ongoing market success.
  • Create strong morale and team spirit across the market as a consistently positive presence.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, and development opportunities to improve team performance and skills.
  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments using existing programs and creative recognition methods.
  • Monitor and generate regular reports and present updates to upper management.
  • Step in to support team members directly, including washing cars and delivering vehicles to customers when needed.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment and keep market operations running smoothly.
  • Identify ways to improve the customer and Advocate experience.
  • Address complex and sensitive customer-facing issues effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and leading teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company grows.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • Analytical mindset preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for extended periods, including 8+ hours.
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving requires excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, up to 3 hours when driving.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with customers and exchange accurate information.
  • California, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin applicants must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment.
