Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub, overseeing market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and ongoing performance.
  • Lead, interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, and goals to support employee development.
  • Build team morale and reinforce individual and team accomplishments through recognition programs and creative methods.
  • Monitor and generate regular reports and present updates to upper management.
  • Act as the go-to resource for the team and step in to support car washing and vehicle delivery as needed.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while maintaining operational detail.
  • Improve the customer and Advocate experience by proactively identifying issues and solutions.
  • Address complex and sensitive customer-facing issues.
  • Assess business trends and create solutions to potential roadblocks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau (preferred).
  • Analytical mindset (preferred).
  • Experience handling logistics (preferred).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for 8+ hours.
  • Ability to reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving with excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for up to 3 hours while driving.
  • California, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin employees must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment.
