Description

  • Support Safe and Secure technology-related issues for internal and external customers.
  • Review tier 3 Help Desk escalations to diagnose problems, gather information, and identify solutions.
  • Configure and program CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring systems for new buildings and installations.
  • Document process standards, naming conventions, how-to guides, equipment information, and solutions to new problems.
  • Evaluate issues and determine whether they can be resolved quickly or should be escalated.
  • Analyze Help Desk ticket data to identify themes, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Train vendor partners on company processes and serve as the main point of contact for onsite vendor service.
  • Serve as a trainer and coach to the Safe and Secure Department on technology topics.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Safe and Secure Technology Administrators.
  • Partner with Safe and Secure and Technology Services teams on business decisions and large-scale system improvements.
  • Escalate issues to vendor partners when needed and respond to urgent after-hours issues as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in technical or physical security technology support.
  • Intermediate skills administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Advanced experience with CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring systems.
  • Experience with Slack, Confluence, Cisco Meraki Appliances, and Jira is a plus.
  • Genetec certification is a plus.
  • Ability to combine creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to support end users.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to provide a top-notch client experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with remote users by phone or email and troubleshoot using remote connectivity tools, sometimes without direct visibility.
  • Understanding of enterprise network environments.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
