Description

  • Support and maintain all Safe & Secure technology systems across Carvana sites.
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve Tier 3 escalated Help Desk tickets and determine appropriate escalation paths.
  • Configure and program CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Monitoring systems for new buildings and installations.
  • Document process standards, naming conventions, equipment information, how-tos, and solutions, and share documentation with the team.
  • Analyze Help Desk ticket data to identify themes, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Train vendor partners on company processes and serve as the primary onsite vendor point of contact; escalate to vendors when necessary.
  • Serve as a trainer and coach for the Safe & Secure department and lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Safe & Secure Technology Administrators.
  • Partner with other Safe & Secure and Technology Services teams and assist the Safe & Secure Technology Manager with departmental business decisions.
  • Lead and contribute to large-scale projects and system improvements that affect end users, and respond to urgent/critical after-hours incidents as on-call support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of experience in technical/physical security technology support.
  • Intermediate administration skills with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Advanced experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Monitoring systems.
  • Experience with Slack, Confluence, Cisco Meraki appliances, and Jira is a strong plus.
  • Genetec certification is a plus.
  • Client-facing, service-oriented attitude with strong verbal written communication skills for remote support (phone/email) and ability to troubleshoot using remote connectivity tools or "in the blind."
  • Understanding of enterprise network environments.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; hiring contingent on passing a background check; role is not eligible for visa sponsorship; schedule expectation: 8AM–4PM Mon–Fri with on-call after-hours and weekend support as needed.
