Description

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the server and systems ecosystem.
  • Build technology infrastructure across all classification levels, including SAP/SCI environments.
  • Design, install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-focused IT systems.
  • Architect and execute server and storage infrastructure for program-specific needs.
  • Support engineering and deployment efforts for multiple classified programs.
  • Coordinate with the ISSM and ISSO to monitor information systems and implement configuration management across authorization boundaries.
  • Define, document, and follow standards and best practices for systems design, testing, and implementation.
  • Drive scripting and automation to solve recurring operational problems.
  • Provision cloud resources in Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service environments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
  • Advanced scripting skills in both Bash and PowerShell to automate recurring tasks.
  • Strong working knowledge of clustered server infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory and multi-site architecture.
  • Experience deploying IT systems in air-gapped and tactical or austere environments.
  • Professional experience with RHEL Image Builder.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fluid environment.
  • Willingness to cross-train into other engineering disciplines such as networking or data links.
  • Currently holds and can maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance or higher, if not already at that level.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Preferred: experience with HPC CPU- and GPU-based clusters.
  • Preferred: understanding of datacenter storage and networking fabric.
