Description

  • Manage and document vehicle movement through the inspection center entrance and exit gates.
  • Serve as the front-line point of contact for associates, vendors, and visitors at the facility.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the inspection center, logistics yard, and buildings and document security or safety concerns.
  • Follow facility access and egress protocols and execute Safe and Secure principles at the gates.
  • Support emergency response activities and become trained and certified in first aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Partner with team leads and managers to handle badge creation, CCTV review, and related security requests.
  • Use the Safe and Secure application and RFID technology in daily operations.
  • De-escalate situations and communicate effectively with team members, partners, and customers.
  • Promote an incident-ready culture and take appropriate action according to the Incident Response Protocol.
  • Support inventory control procedures and accuracy tracking.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work well with others.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other safe and secure technologies (preferred).
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program or safety team (preferred).
  • Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans (preferred).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Requires excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity, frequent driving, and computer data entry.
  • Must be able to work in a 24/7 operation and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring use of protective equipment.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Mon-Fri 12A-8:30A schedule with open availability highly preferred.
