Description

  • Make outbound calls to patients from an assigned patient pool.
  • Educate patients on the care coordination program and its advantages.
  • Persuade eligible patients to enroll in the Medicare-sponsored program.
  • Build rapport with potential patients during phone conversations.
  • Tailor messaging based on patient demographics, health concerns, and insurance.
  • Maintain a high volume of calls and spend most of the workday on the phone.
  • Enter accurate notes and handle data entry while managing conversations.
  • Work collaboratively within the patient engagement team and support team goals.

Requirements

  • Strong people skills and a patient-focused mindset.
  • Proven adaptability in a high-volume sales environment with the ability to meet deadlines and metrics.
  • Ability to maintain a high call volume and spend over 80% of the workday on the phone.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information in a concise, influential, and personable manner.
  • Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate leadership.
  • Warm, professional phone etiquette and clear speaking/listening skills.
  • Strong data entry skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to show empathy and creatively tailor education to each patient.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Skype.
  • Availability during business hours, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST.
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • U.S.-based location.
  • Sedentary role requiring prolonged sitting and extended telephone conversations.
  • Ability to understand, process, and take thorough real-time notes during phone calls.
