Description

  • Triage incoming phone calls from members and pharmacies with professionalism and minimal support.
  • Ask probing questions to identify issues, resolve concerns, and determine next steps.
  • Provide support to call center staff, including technicians and customer service representatives.
  • Accurately document and escalate member and pharmacy concerns to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Communicate issues and resolutions to members, pharmacies, and internal stakeholders while maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Deliver first-call resolution and de-escalate customer concerns through effective communication.
  • Follow internal standard operating procedures, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies.
  • Support the Fraud, Waste, and Abuse program by reviewing pharmacy claims information and sharing findings with internal staff.
  • Work across multiple systems and multitask in a fast-paced, remote call center environment.
  • Meet departmental goals related to schedule adherence, attendance, and quality monitoring.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service, call center, and/or health care experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of PBM or related health care experience required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote, high-volume, fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a focus on customer loyalty through listening and relationship building.
  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
  • Medicare experience preferred.
  • Standard training hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm Eastern.
  • Must maintain excellent attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle multiple systems and work with up to two monitors while multitasking.
