Description

  • Design and develop finance business planning, forecasting, and consolidation applications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and Datasphere.
  • Gather business requirements and document, build, test, and deploy reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud Story and Excel add-in.
  • Build end-to-end flows for standard and custom data models from S/4HANA for use in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Configure data actions, custom calculations, member formulas, and monitoring for data loads and alerts.
  • Build data reconciliation processes between source, staging, and target models and automate them for business consumption.
  • Work with Basis and supplier teams to set up integrations and validate patches and business requests related to data reporting.
  • Perform impact analysis for application changes across components with an end-to-end view of the system.
  • Specify recommendations for integration and parallel testing criteria.
  • Review project deliverables for quality and support audit inquiries.
  • Support production system implementation and maintenance for SAC Planning and BPC, including cutover, troubleshooting, and environment issues.
  • Prepare and deliver training on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and custom-built SAC Planning applications.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and developing finance planning, forecasting, and consolidation applications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and SAP Datasphere.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and building, testing, and deploying reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud Story and Excel add-in.
  • Experience building end-to-end data flows for standard and custom models from S/4HANA.
  • Experience configuring data actions, custom calculations, member formulas, and monitoring data loads and alerts.
  • Experience with data reconciliation between source, staging, and target models.
  • Experience working with Basis and supplier teams on integrations, patch validation, and reporting-related requests.
  • Experience supporting production system maintenance for SAC Planning and BPC, including cutover and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to mentor junior colleagues and perform end-to-end impact analysis of application changes.
  • Ability to estimate rough order of magnitude for new application functionality and costs.
  • Experience preparing training on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning applications is preferred.
