Description

  • Define business data requirements and dimensional models for reporting and analytics use cases.
  • Partner with AI Operations on warehouse architecture decisions and reporting infrastructure.
  • Validate data transformations to ensure accuracy, metric consistency, and data quality.
  • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline development for executive, board, and operational reporting.
  • Handle escalation for data quality issues, discrepancies, and metric disputes.
  • Own change management for reporting data models, KPI definitions, and reporting logic.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized KPI registry with standardized metric definitions across functions.
  • Chair the cross-functional Data Committee to align governance, metrics, and analytics priorities.
  • Develop KPI governance policies, reporting standards, data ownership, access controls, and quality SLAs.
  • Design and standardize executive dashboards and reporting packages while reducing shadow reporting.
  • Support Finance with forecasting models, ARR reporting, SaaS metrics, and board-ready reporting packages.
  • Evaluate and optimize BI tools and reporting platforms to improve scalability and self-service analytics.
  • Implement data quality monitoring processes and maintain the integrity of critical business datasets.
  • Collaborate with GTM Ops, RevOps, Product Ops, and executive leadership on reporting, automation, and strategic analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data warehousing, or related functions.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and experience designing and implementing dimensional data models.
  • Experience working with modern data stack technologies.
  • Experience building and standardizing executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and revenue modeling.
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and align stakeholders on metric definitions and governance standards.
  • Exposure to AI/ML initiatives leveraging structured enterprise data.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • SaaS industry experience required.
  • Experience in private-equity backed SaaS organizations preferred.
  • Experience supporting board reporting and executive-level presentations preferred.
  • Experience establishing data governance committees or enterprise-wide data standards preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems, with Intacct preferred.
