Description

  • Consult on intermediate-complexity data projects and understand design requirements and existing business processes.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data products.
  • Apply code management and integration practices aligned with architectural and data governance guidelines.
  • Produce data building blocks, data models, and data flows for reporting, dashboards, data feeds, and data science work.
  • Create business user access methods for structured and unstructured data.
  • Translate business data stories into technical breakdowns and work estimates for agile planning.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch processing.
  • Build new API integrations to support growing data volume and complexity.
  • Prepare and cleanse data for downstream reporting and AI/ML tools.
  • Develop data project plans and execute mid-size projects and large tasks within timelines.

Requirements

  • Experience consulting on data projects of intermediate complexity with limited coaching and guidance.
  • Experience leading the design, development, and implementation of data products.
  • Knowledge of code management, integration, and architectural/data governance guidelines.
  • Experience creating data models, data flows, and reporting solutions, including dimensional data, standard and ad hoc reporting, dashboards, and data feeds.
  • Familiarity with techniques such as mapping to a common data model, natural language processing, AI, statistical computations, and data validation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical stories, breakdown structures, and work estimates for agile sprints.
  • Experience developing and maintaining moderately complex scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch workloads.
  • Experience building API integrations to support higher data volume and complexity.
  • Working knowledge of data governance concepts.
  • Ability to manage mid-size projects and large tasks within timelines with some supervision.
