Description

  • Act as the connector between business and IT by building collaborative relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Lead stakeholders across risk, compliance, HR, claims, operations, and other business lines to drive value streams and business outcomes.
  • Structure problem statements and proposed solutions for complex initiatives.
  • Perform impact analysis of application changes across system components with an end-to-end view.
  • Lead users in developing business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Understand customer objectives, processes, and products to make informed recommendations and anticipate trends.
  • Communicate functional design impacts on downstream data sources and change management efforts.
  • Oversee business requirements gathering and analysis through business modeling and executive presentations.
  • Lead the strategic narrative and scope of initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project deliverables for quality and syndicate business requirements and Strategy Execution Team best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar position within the insurance industry.
  • Extensive experience with insurance policy systems, processes, and procedures is required.
  • Experience in claims is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • SAFE/Agile certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Business Analyst or leader in insurance processes is a plus.
