Description

  • Lead the Health market strategy for CannonDesign’s Texas offices and guide the development and execution of the market business plan.
  • Advance strategic initiatives, client pursuit efforts, and market differentiation to support firm-wide goals.
  • Develop new target clients, nurture existing relationships, and grow top-line market revenue.
  • Serve as a client leader and subject matter expert on select project opportunities.
  • Represent the firm externally as an ambassador of the CannonDesign brand and Living-Centered Design.
  • Collaborate with office and market leadership to implement bottom-line initiatives and improve profitability.
  • Mentor, coach, assess, and recruit staff to build a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive team.
  • Help develop future leaders and foster a culture of leadership, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Monitor market trends, best practices, and evidence-based design opportunities to support growth.
  • Contribute to project leadership and the delivery of integrated design services with strong financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Current registration/licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Additional certifications and/or relevant training are preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with a proven track record in strategic growth, market leadership, team leadership, and business development in the health market.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy are needed.
  • Ability to communicate authentically and respectfully with professional maturity is essential.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Sound judgment and a strong approach to risk management and mitigation are required.
  • Some travel is required.
