Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned.
  • Proctor cases and independently cover procedures while training surgical teams on safe and effective device use.
  • Educate physicians, medical staff, APPs, office staff, and hospital staff on procedural and product use.
  • Prepare instruments, supplies, equipment, kits, and manage pre-case and intra-operative support.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform quality control audits on equipment and kits.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile usage, and ensure shipping documents match received and returned inventory.
  • Support account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and clinical outcomes in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Specialist teams to review case presentations and share best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, on-label promotion, and healthcare professional interaction requirements.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN, BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • For Clinical Specialist II, 1-3 years of industry experience is required.
  • Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with Mobile Litho Provider Companies is preferred for Clinical Specialist II.
  • For Sr. Clinical Specialist, 3+ years of full-time clinical specialist experience with a medical device company focused on case coverage and patient outcomes is required.
  • Intraoperative coaching experience is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Experience in staff and support training in the operating room is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Urology experience is preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room is required.
  • Experience with fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability to provide intraoperative procedural guidance is required for Clinical Specialist II and Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Willingness to travel outside the designated territory is required.
  • Ability to travel by car up to 90% is required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Compliance with county, state, and federal vaccination rules is required.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $100,000 to $140,000 annually, including base salary and bonus.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
