Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nation.
  • Proctor cases and independently support procedures to ensure safe and effective device use.
  • Train surgical teams, physicians, and medical staff on device preparation, intra-operative support, and clinical use.
  • Provide intra-operative clinical product assistance to surgeons by understanding the procedure, instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain, prepare, and quality-check equipment and kits for surgery, including QC audits.
  • Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedures.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile received and returned inventory, and resolve missing inventory issues.
  • Support account management, clinical engagement, residency education, and sales/physician training programs in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and on-label promotion standards, and collaborate with other Clinical Specialists on case reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • Industry experience of 1-3 years for Clinical Specialist II candidates.
  • Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with mobile lithotripsy provider companies.
  • 3+ years of full-time medical device clinical specialist experience for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience with intraoperative coaching and providing procedural guidance.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room.
  • Fluoroscopy experience is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% by car and outside the designated territory.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to verify identity and employment eligibility upon hire.

  • Total annual compensation of $100,000-$140,000, including base salary and a $20,000 annual variable bonus.
