Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nationally when needed.
  • Train surgical teams, physicians, and medical staff on safe and effective device use, instrument preparation, and procedural support.
  • Deliver intra-operative clinical product assistance to surgeons and support positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices, hospital policies, and procedures.
  • Develop technical expertise to serve as an educational resource for the clinical team.
  • Prepare, maintain, and quality-check equipment and procedure kits for surgery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues according to standard procedures.
  • Manage inventory, reconcile usage and missing items, and ensure inventory matches shipping documents.
  • Support account management activities, including account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Regional Clinical Managers and other Clinical Specialist teams on training, case reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN/BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience for Clinical Specialist II candidates.
  • Prior experience as a clinical specialist with a medical device company or with Mobile Litho Provider companies is preferred for Clinical Specialist II.
  • 3+ years of full-time medical device clinical specialist experience focused on case coverage and patient outcomes for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Intraoperative coaching experience for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience training staff and support teams in the operating room for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Track record of success, with urology experience preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room.
  • Fluoroscopy experience is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel by car up to 90% and willingness to travel outside the designated territory.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually, including a base salary and annual variable bonus.
  • Base salary of $80,000, $100,000, or $120,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
  • Cell phone and internet allowance of $1,800.
  • Stock options with ownership in a mission-driven company.
  • Employee benefits package including 401(k), healthcare insurance, and paid vacation.
