Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nationally when needed.
  • Train surgical teams, physicians, and medical staff on safe and effective device use before and during procedures.
  • Proctor cases and provide intra-operative clinical product support to help achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and surgical kits, including performing quality control audits.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile received and returned inventory, and resolve missing inventory issues.
  • Assist with account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and clinical outcomes in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Support physician training, sales training programs, APPs, office staff, hospital staff, and residency education.
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Specialist teams to review case presentations and share peer-to-peer knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulations related to promotion and healthcare professional interactions.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN/BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience for Clinical Specialist II candidates.
  • Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with mobile lithotripsy provider companies (preferred for Clinical Specialist II).
  • 3+ years of full-time clinical specialist experience with a medical device company focused on case coverage and patient outcomes for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Intraoperative coaching experience for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Fluent in staff and support training for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Track record of success, with urology experience preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room.
  • Experience using fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability to provide intraoperative procedural guidance.
  • Willingness to travel outside the designated territory.
  • Able to travel by car up to 90%.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry and sales/training processes.
  • Compliance with relevant county, state, and federal vaccination rules.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually.
  • Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
