Description

  • Support ongoing technical management of CALSTART’s portfolio of websites.
  • Assist with quality assurance, accessibility testing, and analytics validation.
  • Help maintain technical documentation and create a centralized technical inventory for websites.
  • Triage website issues and document resolutions clearly.
  • Perform minor front-end development and troubleshooting.
  • Support pre-launch and post-launch testing for website changes and rebuilds.
  • Assist with content migration validation and redirect mapping.
  • Conduct responsive testing and verify analytics during the rebrand and website rebuild.
  • Document QA and accessibility audits, testing workflows, and launch checklists.
  • Support newly acquired web properties with technical documentation and testing.

Requirements

  • Completed at least three years of accredited college or university coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced remote work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive web design, and content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Familiarity with website quality assurance, accessibility standards, analytics tools, version control, and browser developer tools is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, document findings clearly, and learn new platforms and technologies quickly.
  • Preferred: understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG, plus familiarity with Git, cross-browser testing, tag management, and performance-testing tools.
