Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer payment questions and issues across communication channels.
  • Investigate, resolve, and own payment issues end-to-end through closure.
  • Provide first-line API integration support, including debugging authentication, validation, idempotency, and webhook delivery issues.
  • Use AI tools, SQL, dashboards, and internal systems to investigate transactions, accounts, and ledger states.
  • Escalate and coordinate complex issues with Finance, Engineering, Compliance, and Product teams.
  • Manage customer tickets and communications in Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Provide customers with clear, proactive, and timely status updates and resolutions.
  • Identify recurring issues and improve internal processes and documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams to support new payment features and launches.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B cross-border payments, fintech, payments, brokerage, correspondent banking, or a similar environment.
  • Experience in a client-facing role managing high-trust customer relationships.
  • Strong REST API debugging skills.
  • Working knowledge of databases and REST application architecture.
  • Experience using AI tools such as OpenAI or Claude for data analysis and queries.
  • Experience with CRM and support tools such as Zendesk or HubSpot.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently drive issues to resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests while remaining organized and calm under pressure.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills and a low-ego working style.
  • Exposure to crypto, stablecoins, or modern payment rails (preferred).
  • Familiarity with KYB, KYC, AML, or compliance workflows (preferred).
  • Experience supporting global customers across time zones (preferred).
  • Advanced Spanish language skills (preferred).
