Description

  • Deliver Tier 2 technical support for international distributors and domestic customers by troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues.
  • Advise distributors on IT infrastructure design and requirements for Cadwell software deployments and tender responses.
  • Partner with after-hours support staff to ensure priority clinical support for distributors with active service contracts.
  • Support the support lifecycle by executing software upgrades, server migrations, and related infrastructure activities.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with international data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR, APPI, or local equivalents.
  • Advise distributors on compliance best practices for privacy and security requirements.
  • Recommend and support region-specific disaster recovery plans and backup solutions.
  • Deliver training and workshops to improve distributor system familiarity and operational effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as directed, assigned, or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
  • Experience in international IT support or a customer-facing technical role preferred.
  • 2+ years of support within a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix preferred.
  • Familiarity with international compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, SQLite, JavaScript, and Mirth Connect in a support or integration context.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT support operations, including networking, databases, storage, software, and HL7 connectivity in clinical environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, including domestic and international stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 30% and obtain necessary travel documents.
  • Ability to work an overnight shift, approximately 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM CT, with flexibility to adjust hours based on business needs.
  • Reliable high-speed internet required.
